About AT&T
AT&T Fiber is the largest fiber-to-the-home builder in the country, and in February 2026 AT&T closed its acquisition of Lumen’s Quantum Fiber consumer business, adding over a million fiber customers in 11 states (source: AT&T/Lumen announcements). The 2026 plans are flat-rate: no equipment fees, no annual price step-up, and about $20/mo off each tier when bundled with AT&T wireless. Where fiber hasn’t reached, AT&T Internet Air offers 5G home internet, and DSL persists in rural areas.
