No. None of Spectrum's residential services (Internet, Mobile, TV or Voice) comes with a term contract or an early termination fee, so you can change plans or cancel without a penalty. What does expire is the promotional price: after 1 year in most cases, or later if you bundle.

It is tied to the number of Spectrum services you keep: 1 year for a single service, 2 years when you have two, 3 years for three (Internet, Mobile and TV, for example). The promotional price does not move during that period; after it, Spectrum's standard rate takes over.

Move both Internet and Mobile to Spectrum and Spectrum promises at least $1,000 saved in the first year against what you paid before, with any shortfall returned as bill credits. Two conditions apply: bills from the providers you are leaving (for mobile: Verizon, T-Mobile or AT&T) must reach Spectrum within 60 days of installation, and both services must stay active for the full year.

No. Spectrum sets no monthly data allowance on any Internet tier, the $30 Internet 100 plan included, so there is nothing to run over and no overage fee. The modem costs nothing either. Advanced WiFi is optional: included with Internet 1 Gig, $10/mo on the 100 and 500 tiers.

Two steps. The ZIP search here lists every provider with an FCC coverage filing for your ZIP, Spectrum included where it reported service, with the technology, top advertised download speed and share of the ZIP each one covers. Those filings are the providers' own reports, counted by census block, so they narrow the field without settling any one house. Spectrum settles that address by address: call (833) 390-3014 and we ask Spectrum about your exact street.

The Express Connect Kit lets most homes install Spectrum themselves at no extra charge; Spectrum estimates 15–30 minutes once it arrives. If you would rather have a technician, professional installation is $50. New accounts pay a one-time service activation fee with either option.

One Unlimited Mobile service free for 12 months, for new customers who have Spectrum Internet. It includes unlimited talk, text and data across the country on nationwide 5G, with data at full speed up to 30 GB per line. Spectrum Internet® and Auto Pay are required. The offer is limited to one promotional line per account. When the 12 months end, standard rates apply.

With Spectrum Internet®, each additional Unlimited line costs $30/mo. Unlimited Plus Premium runs $50/mo per line, and Unlimited Plus is $40/mo per line, dropping to $30/line for Internet 1 Gig customers. Mobile service is only sold with Spectrum Internet®, and Auto Pay is required. By the Gig is no longer offered; Spectrum discontinued it on 7/22/2026.

Usually. An unlocked, compatible phone can move over, and your number transfers when the line is activated. If phones from your old carrier are not paid off, the Phone Balance Buyout covers up to $2,500 per account, provided at least two lines switch and at least two numbers port in.

Anytime Upgrade is part of Spectrum Mobile Unlimited Plus. It lets you move to a new phone before the current one is paid off: trade in your device in good working condition, choose a new phone on a payment plan and pay $35 for each upgrade, with a limit of four in 12 months.

From Stream TV Signature up, Spectrum includes these apps at no extra charge: HBO Max Basic With Ads, Disney+, Hulu, ESPN Unlimited, Paramount+ Essential, Peacock Premium, discovery+, FOX One, AMC+ with Ads and ViX Premium with ads. On the $100/mo Stream TV Signature plan, Spectrum values that set at about $114/mo. Stream TV VIP swaps in ad-free HBO Max and Paramount+ Premium.

Promotional TV pricing lasts 1 year, and standard rates apply after that. Spectrum publishes a post-promotional rate only for Stream TV Latino Más ($95/mo); for the other plans, Spectrum sets the standard rate and confirms it for your address when you order. A bundle can extend the guarantee on your price to 2 or 3 years.

With a qualifying TV + Internet package, yes. Spectrum's Contract Buyout pays up to $500 toward the early termination fee charged by your current TV provider. Mention it when you call and we will check whether your package qualifies.

A Spectrum Voice home phone line is $15/mo. Calling is unlimited within the U.S. and to Guam, Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, Canada and Mexico, and Call Guard screens out robocalls. In a bundle with other services the $15 price holds for 3 years, and a 911 call from the line gives the dispatcher your address automatically.

No. An independent authorized retailer of Spectrum services runs it; Spectrum and Charter do not. Spectrum provides the service, the billing and the installation, at its own advertised prices. What we do is compare plans, show what providers have filed for your ZIP and take orders by phone. We may be compensated by Spectrum when you sign up through us.

No. The plans and promotions here are Spectrum's own advertised residential offers, and Spectrum sets the price you pay; we add no markup. A few Spectrum promotions are online-only and cannot be ordered by phone, and we tell you when that applies. What you get from us is a person who checks your address with Spectrum and works through the bundle with you.
