Trademarks

Last updated: September 25, 2026

This site names and displays the brands of companies we do not own. This page explains the basis on which we do that, which is not the same for every provider named here.

1. Ownership

All company names, brand names, logos, trademarks and service marks shown on this site are the property of their respective owners. Nothing on this site transfers any right in them, and nothing here should be read as a statement made by a provider.

2. Which providers are which

We compare every provider the FCC records at an address, and we can place orders with only some of them. The distinction matters legally, so it is set out explicitly and generated from the same registry that drives the rest of the site:

Providers we are authorized to sell

ADT, Astound Broadband, AT&T, Cox (now Spectrum), DIRECTV, Frontier, Optimum, Spectrum, Verizon, Vivint, Xfinity. We can take your order for these by phone. Where a provider has issued us an authorized lockup (retailer, dealer, agent, reseller, partner or sales agent, as that provider’s program names it) we display it under that provider’s brand guidelines, and we use the provider’s marks only as that authorization allows. Each name and its associated marks belong to that provider.

Providers we compare but cannot sell

ALLO Fiber, altafiber, Armstrong, Breezeline, CenturyLink / Quantum Fiber, Consolidated / Fidium Fiber, DISH, EarthLink, Google Fiber, Hawaiian Telcom, HughesNet, Mediacom, Metronet, Midco, Rise Broadband, Sparklight, Starlink, T-Mobile Home Internet, Viasat, WOW! Internet, Ziply Fiber. We have no relationship with these providers and are not authorized by them. Their names appear here for one reason only: to identify the service being compared, so that a reader can tell which provider a coverage figure or a price refers to. That is nominative use and it implies no affiliation, sponsorship or endorsement. Order these services from the provider directly.

This list is generated from our provider registry when the page loads, so it cannot fall out of step with the rest of the site.

3. We are not any provider’s official site

EZ Internet is an independent retailer and comparison site. We are not an internet service provider, we are not owned by one, and no page here is the official website of any provider — including the providers we can sell. Where a page carries a provider’s branding, it says who operates it at the top and in the footer.

4. Our own marks and data

The EZ Internet name, logo and the written content, comparisons, rankings and page structure on this site are ours. Coverage figures are derived from the FCC Broadband Data Collection, a public dataset that is not ours and is credited as the source wherever it is used. You are welcome to cite our pages with a link; wholesale copying of the content is not permitted.

5. Descriptive and nominative use

Using a trademark to identify the trademark owner’s own goods is lawful nominative use. We rely on that for the providers we do not sell, and we keep to its limits: we use no more of a mark than is needed to identify the service, we do not use provider logos or styling to suggest sponsorship, and we state our independence on the page.

6. Corrections and takedown

If you own a mark used on this site and believe it is used incorrectly, outside the terms of an agreement with us, or in a way that implies a relationship that does not exist, write to admin@ezinternet.services with the page address and what you would like changed. Brand-compliance requests from a provider are actioned ahead of other correspondence, and we would rather remove something than argue about it.
